Dr. Jai Dee, the "Kind-Hearted Doctor" (as it translates in Lao) is running 7km in Luang Prabang to raise vital funds for the hospital, this October 25, 2025. WHO’S INSIDE THE MASCOT?
 Inside the LFHC Mascot is Lou, our Quality Improvement (Q.I) and Infection Control Manager. He is the guardian angel who works behind the scenes to keep every child safe from hospital-acquired infection. LOU'S FUNDRAISING APPEAL Lou wants to challenge himself to run (come rain, shine, heat or humidity) in Dr Jai Dee’s mascot suit, a symbol of the hospital that he’s been proudly part of for over 9 years. As the QI and Infection Control Manager, Lou has contributed to the significant improvement of the hospital’s infection control since 2016.
Lou helps fight the invisible enemies that threaten the safety of our patients. WITH THE RECENT MEASLES OUTBREAK AFFECTING CHILDREN ACROSS LAOS, INFECTION PREVENTION HAS NEVER BEEN MORE URGENT.
